Donald Pendergrast has a rich history with Calhoun Academy and the MAIS. Mr. P, as he is lovingly known by all at CA, has a total of 47 years in the field of education with over 16 of those years being a member of the CA family. He holds an A.A. Degree from Clarke College, a B.S. Degree in Science Education from University of Southern Mississippi, and a M.S. Degree in Educational Leadership & Supervision from Mississippi College. Mr. P's favorite part of working at Calhoun Academy is the family atmosphere. 

Mrs. Sheila Ferguson serves as Calhoun Academy's Athletic Director and teaches English, Fine Arts, and ACT Prep. Mrs. Ferguson holds a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in Math and English and has 26 years experience in education. She has been a part of the CA family for 11 years. Two things Mrs. Ferguson loves about CA are the small class sizes and the Christian, family atmosphere!

Mrs. Jonna Washington, an alumnus of Calhoun Academy, has been a part of the CA staff for 31 years. Mrs. Washington holds a Bachelor's Degree in Professional Accountancy and taught for 19 years. She has served as Counselor for the past 12 years. She assists with Beta Club, Annual Staff, and Journalism. Mrs. Washington's favorite thing about CA is the family atmosphere!
