Calhoun Academy Choir was formed in October 2023 as the school's first organized choral group. The choir performed the National Anthem at homecoming, the Veteran's Day program, and a playoff game. CA's Choir attended the Solo and Ensemble Festival in Jackson in November where it received an Excellent rating across the board. Two soloists performed and received Excellent ratings, as well. The Choir then focused its efforts on a Christmas Concert and later performed for the public twice. The Choir closed out the Christmas season by performing at the Baptist Calhoun Nursing Home.
