Elementary

Miss Amy teaches K3 at CA. She has been a part of the CA family for 5 years. She loves her students, the school, and the family atmosphere!

Mrs. Tina Wolfe has 36 years of experience and has taught K4 at CA for 5 years. Mrs. Wolfe holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Her favorite things about teaching at CA are the small class size and her students!

Mrs. Missy Bryant has 45 years of experience in education and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Home Economics. Mrs. Bryant has spent her entire career at CA teaching Kindergarten. Her favorite things about teaching at CA are the kids and people- in general, the freedom to share the gospel with her students and the family atmosphere! 

Mrs. Tesha Hailey, an alumnus of CA, has been a part of the Cougar family for 35 years. She has 12 years of experience in elementary education with 6 years being on the teaching staff at CA. Mrs. Hailey holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and teaches 1st Grade. Mrs. Hailey's favorite thing about working at CA is the family environment. From staff to students to parents - she loves how everyone comes together to help one another. 

Mrs. Jennifer Waldo has 9 years of experience in education with 5 being a part of the CA teaching staff. Mrs. Waldo holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Education and teaches 3rd grade. Mrs. Waldo's favorite thing about teaching at CA is the ability to work with great children and their families!

Mrs. Melanie Bollinger, a 1988 graduate of CA, teaches 4th grade as well as 5th and 6th grade Math. Mrs. Bollinger has 32 years of teaching experience and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education as well as a Master's Degree in Educational Theory and Practice. She has been a member of the CA teaching staff for 2 years. Mrs. Bollinger's favorite part of working at CA is the Christian and family-like atmosphere!

A 1984 Graduate of Calhoun Academy, Mrs. Vicki Harrell has been a member of the CA family since she entered 1st grade! Mrs. Harrell holds an Associate's of Arts in Education, a Bachelor's of Science Elementary Education, and a Master's of Science Elementary Education and currently teaches 5th Grade (all subjects), 4th Science, and 4th and 6th History. Mrs. Harrell also leads our 4th-6th Grade Choir. When asked what she loves most about working at CA, Mrs. Harrell said, “I like the small classes and the family closeness that we experience with the students. I enjoy the fact that we offer extra activities to enrich students' learning experience, and the Christian curriculum is the best!” 

Ms. June Collins teaches 6th grade as well as 4th and 5th grade Language. Ms. Collins has 42 years of experience in education with 12 of those being a part of the CA teaching staff. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Ms. Collins' favorite things about CA are the opportunity to work with small groups of eager students and wonderful coworkers as well as seeing students enjoy numerous extracurricular activities.
