Overview
Calhoun Academy is an independent school which means our funding predominately comes from patrons, donors, and fundraising. CA is a 501c3 non-profit organizationwith a dedicated mission. Benefits of Independent Schools
Because we do not rely solely on state and/or federal funding, we do not have to follow curriculum trends or label students based on standardized test scores. The freedom to implement Christian-based curriculum in every class and the ability to determine student success based on classroom performance over the course of an entire school year are two major reasons why many families today choose CA.
